As a teacher the biggest compliment is when our lessons go beyond the mat and help people learn to tap into the inner self. Mindfullness has become a catch phrase, its my mission to regain the practice of uncomplicated meditation and gentle, soothing yoga practice.
A very personal one on one approach as been missing from our yoga classes for decades. This used to be the way most Yogis shared their teachings. I love to bring this personal touch to all my class and keep numbers to a minimum to achieve that.
When it comes down to it Yoga is a personal experience and should be different for everyone, it really is what YOU make of it.After all its YOUR journey Im just a guide along the way of your self reflection.
I began my Yoga journey in a prenatal class over 35 yrs ago learning from the amazing Therese Jamieson in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Followed by Glenda Gooding from the Gaia school of yoga in Melbourne. These 2 women shaped not only my Yoga practice but my life as a whole and I wouldn't be who I am if not for they're teachings.
Many moons later after many life changing experiences I achieved my Multi Style Yoga teachers Certification thanks to the guidance of the Yogamu institute based in Rishikesh, India.
I found my peace in my practice and use this to guide my teachings hoping to inspire others to develop a calming practice of their own.
